FAQ

Short answers to common questions.

Why do I need to pass a check for every trade?

So scripts cannot trade the curve. One check takes a person a few seconds; for a bot it is a wall.

It says “You traded a moment ago”. What now?

Each token sets a minimum wait between two trades of one wallet, about 1.2 seconds on Standard. Wait a moment and try again.

It says my amount exceeds the limits.

The token caps how much one trade and one wallet can buy, and the caps are smaller during the opening window. The trade panel shows the most one trade can buy right now and offers to use it.

It says I already have a pending verification.

You can hold one ticket per token at a time. It clears as soon as it is used, or after about a minute.

My ticket expired before I signed.

Tickets last about a minute. Press Retry and pass a new check.

Can I sell at any time?

On the curve, yes, after the short wait between trades; caps never apply to sells. Between graduation and the pool opening, usually a short moment, neither buys nor sells are possible. After that you trade in the pool.

Why did I get fewer tokens than I expected?

The token probably has a creator fee. Its page shows a fee badge, and the trade panel’s “You receive” already subtracts it.

How do I earn from a token whose cut goes to holders?

Hold at least $10 of it. Every 30 minutes the round weighs your holding by size and time, and your share shows on the token page under Creator’s cut, ready to claim.

Why is the pool fee so high right after graduation?

It starts at 99% so bots cannot cheaply snipe the new pool, and falls to 1% within about 30 seconds.

What does “Extra check for your network” mean?

The verifier can ask traffic from hosting and datacenter networks for a small proof of work. Your browser solves it on its own in a second or two and the trade continues; nothing else is needed from you.

Is there a fee to launch?

No bang! fee. You pay account rent and any first buy, which pays the 1% platform fee like every buy.

Can a creator change the rules or the fee later?

No. The limits, the creator fee, where the creator’s cut goes and the pool shape are fixed when the token is created.

Where do I see my trades and holdings?

Open the wallet menu and choose My profile. It has your holdings, the tokens you created and your trade history.
