Anti-bot limits
Cooldowns, per-trade and per-wallet caps, the opening window and the opening delay.
Each token stores its limits when it is created, and the program enforces them on every curve trade. On the create page they are the Rules for buyers; on a token page the Fair-trading rules card shows the limits in force right now, in tokens and in SOL.
| Limit | Standard | Strict | Allowed range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wait between two trades of one wallet | 3 slots (~1.2 s) | 8 slots (~3.2 s) | 1–50 slots |
| Max per trade | 2% of supply | 1% of supply | 0.5–10% |
| Max per wallet (net bought from the curve) | 5% of supply | 3% of supply | 1–20% |
| Opening window after trading opens | 300 slots (~2 min) | 900 slots (~6 min) | 0–1,500 slots |
| Opening window caps (per trade / per wallet) | 0.5% / 1% | 0.5% / 1% | Never above the normal caps |
| Delay before trading opens | Creator’s choice | Creator’s choice | 0–1,500 slots (~10 min) |
Custom starts from Standard and lets the creator pick each value inside the allowed range. Max per trade can never be more than max per wallet. A slot is about 0.4 seconds.
How they apply
- The wait applies to buys and sells. The caps apply to buys only; you can always sell what you hold.
- The per-wallet cap counts what a wallet bought from the curve minus what it sold back. Selling frees room again; tokens received from other wallets do not count.
- The opening window starts when trading opens. Inside it the smaller caps apply, then the normal ones.
- The creator trades through the same rules as everyone else. The only exception is the optional first buy inside the creation transaction, which can never fill the curve.
- The verifier checks the same limits before it signs, so a trade that would break them never reaches your wallet.
